Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Humphrey Mlwane has found a new home in Eswatini, joining Tabankulu Celtic FC as the club’s new head coach, FARPost has learnt.
The move comes shortly after Mlwane cut ties with SAFA Limpopo ABC Motsepe League side Tzaneen United. His stint in Limpopo was short-lived; he took charge of only two matches after joining the team in January 2026.
Despite his departure, Tzaneen United remains competitive, currently sitting second in Stream A of their provincial league with 19 points from 10 games.
Before his short stint with Tzaneen United, Mlwane served at the Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit The Bees FC, where he left the club on mutual agreement in November last year.
Mlwane was instrumental in The Bees’ success last term, as he guided the club to the Mpumalanga ABC Motsepe League title, and went on to lead them to the SAFA ABC Motsepe League National Playoffs to secure the club’s professional status.
The Bees are currently competing in their debut Motsepe Foundation Championship campaign after finishing as runners-up in the national playoffs held in Gauteng in July last year.
