Orlando Pirates will host Casric Stars while Mamelodi Sundowns will take on TS Galaxy following the confirmation of the Nedbank Cup Last 16 draw. The draw was officially conducted in Randburg, Johannesburg, on Wednesday night.
Last season’s champions, Kaizer Chiefs, were one of the most notable absentees after being eliminated in the last 32 by Stellenbosch FC.
The Last 16 matches are scheduled to take place on the weekend of 21-22 February 2026.
Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates will be looking for their third Nedbank Cup title in four years. The Buccaneers proceeded to the next round after a 4-1 win over Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday.

Orlando Pirates cruised past Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila of the ABC Motsepe League to advance to the second round of the Nedbank Cup with a 4-1 win at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday. Mamelodi Sundowns avoided a scare against Gamora United to go through with a 2-1 win at Loftus Versfeld.
It was not an easy passage for most of the Betway Premiership clubs. AmaZulu overcame 10-man Polokwane City to advance with a 2-1 win. Richards Bay FC needed a penalty shootout to beat Siwelele 4-3 to advance to the next stage, while Durban City also needed a penalty shootout to win against Chippa United.
TS Galaxy booked their place in the last 16 following a hard-fought 1-0 win over Marumo Gallants. Golden Arrows trumped fellow Betway Premiership side Orbit College 3-0 in the last 32.
Meanwhile, only three clubs are remaining from the SAFA amateur League Structures in Jacksa Spears FC [Northern Cape], Vasco da Gama [Western Cape] and Mkhambathi FC [KZN] and only four clubs from the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
