Betway Premiership side have agreed a deal in principle to sign former Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah on a free transfer, FARPost has been informed.
Ndah became a free agent after parting ways with Pirates in the 2026 January transfer window, when both parties reached an agreement for an amicable termination of the contract.
The highly-rated centre-back was in the final six months of his contract with the Buccaneers, which was set to expire in June 2026. Before leaving Pirates, Ndah spent over a year on the sidelines after sustaining a long-term injury.
Ndah recently returned to full fitness, but he couldn’t break into the Pirates starting line-up due to stiff competition. The Nigerian has faced competition from Lebone Seema, Nkosinathi Sibisi, Thabiso Sesane, and Mpho Chabatsane, who arrived at the club in the January transfer window.
The talented defender has been with Pirates since 2021 after signing from a top-division side in Nigeria, Akwa United. During his spell with the Sea Robbers, Ndah featured in 81 appearances across all competitions and scored one goal.
WHAT’S THE UPDATE ON NDAH’S MOVE TO STELLENBOSCH?

Having closed the Pirates chapter, Ndah resurfaced at Stellenbosch last week to start training with the club under the assessment of veteran coach Gavin Hunt. FARPost has learnt that Ndah’s move to the Winelands-based side is on the cards, with only finer details left before the deal goes over the line.
The 28-year-old could be a big acquisition for Stellenbosch to boost their defense as they aim climb up the league table in the second round of the campaign. Stellies are also looking to give a good account of themselves in the Nedbank Cup, where they’ll face Golden Arrows in the Last 16 at King Zwelithini Stadium this coming weekend.
Meanwhile, Stellenbosch recently crashed out of the CAF Confederation Cup after falling short in the group stages of the tournament.
