Motsepe Foundation Championship side Gomora United has addressed the issue of unpaid player salaries and those of the technical staff amid growing concerns about the club’s internal welfare.
This follows a leaked communication sent to players and staff that they would only get 50 per cent of their salaries on 2 March 2026.
The club cited financial constraints and unforeseen circumstances that have led to temporary cash flow challenges at the club.
The club is one of the three newcomers in the National First Division. This follows their promotion from the SAFA ABC Motsepe League.
They currently sit 12th on the log with 22 points from 19 matches. Gomora recently relocated to Malamulele in Limpopo after citing a lack of resources in Gauteng.

In a statement issued on Monday, the club is working tirelessly to stabilise its financial position.
