The Premier Soccer League [PSL] has confirmed the dates, kick-off times, and venues for the 2026 Nedbank Cup semi-finals, a line-up notably missing all of the ‘big three’.
The four teams left in the last four of the tournament are TS Galaxy, Durban City FC and Motsepe Foundation Championship promotion chasers Casric Stars, as well as Milford FC.
Casric reached the semi-finals after a shock win against Betway Premiership AmaZulu FC, while Milford also pulled off an upset victory over Sekhukhune United.
Durban City, on the other hand, went through after beating neighbours Golden Arrows, while TS Galaxy beat minnows Jacksa Spears FC.
Some of the big sides like defending champions Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns failed to reach the quarter-final stages of the tournament.
From the four teams remaining, only TS Galaxy has won the tournament when they beat Chiefs 1-0 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in 2019.
The PSL has since confirmed that the matches will be played over the weekend of 04 and 05 April 2026.

“Tickets will go on sale today at 11h00 through Open Tickets outlets nationwide and online, priced at R50 per ticket,” the League announced on Thursday.
“The semi-final action will get underway at Chatsworth Stadium in KwaZulu-Natal, where Durban City will take on Casric Stars on Saturday, 04 April 2026.
“The excitement will continue on Sunday, 05 April 2026, at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium in Mpumalanga, where TS Galaxy FC and Milford FC will battle for a place in the final. Both semi-final fixtures are scheduled to kick off at 15h00.”
Meanwhile, this will be the first time that the Solomon Mahlangu Stadium in KwaMhlanga, Mpumalanga, will host a match of such magnitude. The venue is home to both TS Galaxy and Casric Stars.
It previously did not meet the required standards to host Premier League matches until recently, when Galaxy used the facility for their home matches in the SA top-flight.
