Nyandoro was recently appointed Kwekwe United scout, a club that has fellow ex-Masandawana player Cuthbert Malajila as team manager.
And as he is slowly getting his footprint back into Zimbabwe after a lengthy stay in South Africa, the 46-year-old will also return to the national team fold.
The Zimbabwe Football Association [ZIFA] has initiated a technical reshuffle within the national team set-up, with the team manager and fitness trainer among the key personnel being replaced.
NYANDORO EXPECTED TO PLAY INSPIRATIONAL ROLE

As such, Nyandoro is taking over the team manager role, a position previously held by Clemence Matawu. ZIFA are yet to officially confirm the appointment, however, FARPost understands that his first assignment will be during the upcoming FIFAย international break.
Having been part of the squad that made Zimbabwe’s maiden appearance at AFCON in 2004, Nyandoro is expected to play an inspirational role to the current crop of players.
Nyandoro will assume his role when Zimbabwe take part in a Four Nations tournament to be held at the Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Botswana between 28 and 31 March, 2026. The tournament also features Zambia and Malawi.
While he is expected to aptly fulfil his duties as Warriors team manager, Nyandoro will also be expected to contribute at Kwekwe United as a scout.
Kwekwe United were relegated from the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League after struggling in 2025. They finished the campaign at the bottom of the log with ten points from 34 matches. However, they are seeking a quick return to the elite league.
In addition, the ex-Zimbabwe international, Nyandoro, is making a massive impact with his newly founded Esrom Nyandoro Foundation.
The foundation aims to tackle poverty by funding underprivileged students in Zimbabwe and beyond. Nyandoro wants to harness footballโs power to drive discipline and mentorship across Africa.
To start the foundationโs operations, he sold off sentimental jerseys. These include framed AFCON jerseys and signed kits from former teammates.
