Motsepe Foundation Championship side Baroka FC have appointed former Orlando Pirates striker Reason Chiloane as their forwards coach, with the club seeking to improve their misfiring attack.
The Limpopo side is staring at relegation from the National First Division to the third-tier. They are currently 15th on the table, just a rung above bottom-placed Black Leopards FC.
Having collected 18 points from 22 games, Bakgaga ba Mphahlele have been enduring a difficult season, worsened by a blunt strikeforce. They have managed just 17 league goals so far this season.ย
It is a situation that has created the need for a coach who will work with their strikers as they try to have an improved front in their remaining eight matches. That presents the forwards coach little time to help Baroka go up the table and stay safe from relegation.
They have three points fewer than 14th-placed Midlands Wanderers FC who are just above the relegation zone.
