The Premier Soccer League [PSL] has announced the kick-off time and ticketing information for the 2026 Nedbank Cup final between Durban City FC and TS Galaxy FC.
The Nedbank Cup final showdown is set to take place at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Saturday, 02 May 2026.
The league confirmed that the match will start at 18h00. The choice of the 2010 FIFA World Cup host venue in Limpopo sets the stage for a neutral-ground battle as both sides look to lift the trophy.
Durban City and TS Galaxy booked their final spots in this year’s Nedbank Cup tournament after defeating Motsepe Foundation Championship opponents [Casric Stars and Milford FC, respectively].
The KZN outfit secured their progression to the final on Saturday, 4 April, with a 1-0 victory over Casric at Chatsworth Stadium.
Meanwhile, the Rockets advanced to the final on Sunday, 5 April. This came after a 1-1 draw over 120 minutes against Milford at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium, with the Mpumalanga club winning 4-3 in a dramatic penalty shootout.
NEDBANK CUP FINAL TICKETING INFORMATION
In an official statement released on Wednesday, the PSL confirmed that tickets are now available to the general public.
“Tickets for the final are available at Open Tickets outlets nationwide, including Shoprite, Checkers and USave stores. Spectators can purchase tickets at a cost of R50 each,” reads the statement.
“The PSL encourages members of the public to purchase tickets early to avoid disappointment and to be part of what promises to be a memorable occasion on the South African football calendar.”
The league noted that fans can expect a full festival atmosphere. “Further event details, including match-day entertainment activities, will be communicated in due course,” the statement concluded.
Durban City will be looking to secure their first major silverware since their rebranding from Maritzburg United. On the other hand, TS Galaxy aims to replicate their 2019 heroics when they became the first lower-division side to win the competition. The Rockets beat Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 in the final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
