TS Galaxy striker Junior Zindoga has opened up about how his interactions with former Kaizer Chiefs star Knowledge Musona changed his thoughts and approach to his career.
Zindoga — one of The Rockets’ rising strikers — is full of admiration for the former Chiefs marksman, with whom he shared the dressing room at the 2025 AFCON in Morocco for the first time in his career.
The Zimbabwean striker, Zindoga, has weighed in with three goals for TS Galaxy across all competitions, two in the Betway Premiership and one in the Nedbank Cup, and three assists. In total, he has featured in 25 matches across all competitions.
Meanwhile, Musona is a Zimbabwean football sensation who has played for top clubs including Chiefs, German club Hoffenheim, and Belgium’s Anderlecht. He also played in the Saudi Pro League for Al Tai, Al-Riyadh SC, and Al Akhdoud.
Currently, he is with Scottland FC in Zimbabwe, shining in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.

In an interview with FARPost, Zindoga said forging a relationship with Musona during camp at the 2025 AFCON helped him gain new career insights.
He said: “Knowledge Musona is someone I truly admire and look up to. Not just because he is one of Chiefs’ respected former strikers, even after spending three seasons with them, but because of the kind of person he is.
“At his age, he is still pushing himself, doing extra training, showing everyone what’s possible with dedication and passion at club and national team level. But what really gets me is the relationship we’ve built. He is like a father figure, a brother, someone you feel safe around and can look up to. I’m grateful to have him as a role model. And having a relationship with him means a lot.
“Honestly, what I saw in the national team camp with him is amazing. Musona’s passion and work ethic are qualities that make him a hero, not just to me, but to many fans. His impact goes beyond his goals; he’s a leader, a mentor, and a true legend of the game. Seeing Musona’s commitment to his craft, even at this stage, is inspiring. He is a reminder that age is just a number.”
