Several Betway Premiership clubs are chasing the signature of Marumo Gallants’ talented defender Marvin Sikhosana ahead of the upcoming season, FARPost can reveal.
The 31-year-old centre-back has been a key player for Gallants’ backline since joining the Bloemfontein-based outfit as a free agent in August 2023.
In the just-ended 2025/26 campaign, Sikhosana established himself as a regular starter for Bahlabane Ba Ntwa. He featured in 32 games across all competitions, putting in commanding performances that have now caught the attention of top-flight rivals.
Moreover, Sikhosana helped Gallants survive the relegation zone, as the club finished the season in 14th position with 25 points after 30 games.
With his contract with Gallants set to expire at the end of June this year, the experienced defender is not short of suitors.

THE BETWAY PREMIERSHIP TEAMS INTERESTED IN MARVIN SIKHOSANA’S SERVICES
A reliable source close to this publication has confirmed that three Betway Premiership teams are chasing for the defender’s signature. However, the source requested anonymity as negotiations are still in the premature stages.
Despite the secrecy, FARPost has dug deep to uncover the identities of some of the clubs in the race. This website can reveal that Limpopo side Polokwane City FC and KwaZulu-Natal’s Golden Arrows are among the clubs keen to secure his services.
“The contract [at Marumo Gallants] is coming to an end at the end of June. At the moment, about three Betway Premiership teams are interested in the services of the player, but I cannot mention the teams’ names out of respect for the clubs,” the source told FARPost.
“But, as things stand, Marumo hasn’t started the negotiations to extend his stay.”
In his football career, Sikhosana also represented teams such as Mbombela United, Witbank Spurs, Polokwane City FC, and Free State Stars.
