Motsepe Foundation Championship newcomers Hope FC have secured the signature of Xhosa Manyana from Cape Town City FC following his loan spell at Kaizer Chiefs in the DStv Diski Challenge [DDC].
Manyana spent the previous campaign on loan at Amakhosi, featuring for the Glamour Boys’ Diski Challenge squad. Following the conclusion of his spell at the Soweto giants, the 20-year-old midfielder returned to his parent club before completing his move to the ambitious second-tier outfit, Hope FC.
Hope FC confirmed the acquisition of the South African youth international on Thursday, 30 July 2026.
The club expressed great enthusiasm regarding the arrival of the youngster, highlighting his international and domestic exposure as the main factors behind bringing him on board.

Manyana’s arrival marks the 10th new addition for Hope FC as they prepare for their maiden campaign in the professional ranks.
Hope FC have already reinforced its squad with the signings of Miguel Timm, Tauric Gamildien, Selwyn Stevens, Tyler Cicero, Nande Wetbooi, Thamsanqa Magwaza, Marc Jonas, Clyde Combi, and Brandon Theron.
The club earned automatic promotion to the Motsepe Foundation Championship after clinching the SAFA 2025/26 ABC Motsepe League National Playoffs title.
In addition, the Cape-based club will kick off their new season in the professional ranks with a clash against AmaTuks on Saturday, 22 August at home. The match will start at 15:00 at Athlone Stadium.
