Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates attacker Lesedi Kapinga has found a new home at Betway Premiership newboys Kruger United as he seeks to revive his career.
Kapinga has put pen to paper with the Village Boys, finalising his move to the Limpopo side following a successful trial spell, as previously reported by FARPost.
The 31-year-old made his first appearance for Kruger in the Mpumalanga Derby in the Betway Premiership against TS Galaxy at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium on Sunday.
Kapinga came on as a second-half substitute for Kruger United and proved to be a live wire in attack after stringing good passes in the final third.
His new side subsequently claimed a narrow 1-0 victory over the Rockets after netting a solitary goal in the remaining 20 minutes of the match through Khetukuthula Ndlovu.
Before joining Kruger United, Kapinga spent time at Orbit College FC in the previous campaign before parting ways with the club after their relegation to the Motsepe Foundation Championship. At the Mswenko Boys, Kapinga struggled for regular game time after featuring in only four appearances across all competitions. He scored one goal at the club.

Before his stint at Orbit, Kapinga played for Sekhukhune United, where he struggled to make a meaningful impact.
The highly-rated midfielder also had spells with Sundowns and Pirates, but his best stint was with Black Leopards, where he showcased his passing abilities and eye for goal.
Kapinga scored seven goals and provided eight assists in 51 matches across all competitions at Leopards, becoming one of the PSL’s standout players.
After a challenging past few years in finding a stable home, Kapinga will be looking to return to playing his best football in the colours of Kruger United.
