Bafana Bafana star Relebohile Mofokeng continued his rise at Union Saint-Gilloise and Keletso Makgalwa opened his account at Simba SC, as SA coaches Steve Barker, Manqoba Mngqithi, Eric Tinkler and Rulani Mokwena shone on the continent.
Mofokeng netted his third goal in just his second start in the Belgian Pro League as Union Saint-Gilloise climbed to the top of the table. The 21-year-old has had only two starts in five matches but continues to deliver.
After scoring off the bench on his league debut in the 5-1 win over Westerlo and again in the 3-0 victory over Sint-Truiden, Mofokeng struck after just seven minutes to make it 2-0 in the 5-0 thrashing of Lommel SK on Saturday. The match was played at the Stade Joseph Marien.

He was, however, withdrawn after 64 minutes and will now hope his red-hot form earns him a European debut when Union face Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League on Thursday.
As it stands, Mofokeng and his team sit top of the Belgian Pro League with 16 points from six matches, level on points with second-placed K.A.A. Gent.

The former Sekhukhune United star scored as Steve Barker’s team stormed into the CAF Champions League second preliminary round with a 6-1 thrashing of Malawian champions Mighty Wanderers at Uhuru Stadium on Sunday. Simba progressed 7-1 on aggregate.
Additionally, former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Peter Shalulile was on the scoresheet for Manqoba Mngqithi’s Young Africans as they also booked their place in the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
Yanga edged Botswana’s Gaborone United 2-1 at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam on Saturday to advance 3-2 on aggregate after the first leg finished 1-1.
In addition, Rulani Mokwena kept his impressive record intact at the helm of Pyramids FC. Mokwena’s men thumped Kenyan champions Gor Mahia 5-1 to advance to the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League with a 7-1 aggregate win.
The Egyptians secured their win at the 30 June Air Defence Stadium on Sunday. Pyramids had taken a huge step towards the second round after a convincing 2-0 win away at Gor Mahia last weekend.
Additionally, Banyana Banyana star Jermaine Seopesenwe scored as Monterrey Femenil beat Guadalajara 3-2 in the Mexican Liga MX. The match was played at Estadio BBVA in Monterrey. Seopesenwe has now netted five goals with one assist to her name in seven matches.
