Samkelo Biyela is a qualified multimedia journalist born and raised in the vibrant city of Durban, South Africa. The young reporter recently completed his Journalism Honours degree at the Durban University of Technology. Samkelo has infused his love for the game with a passion for storytelling to carve his path in sports writing and broadcasting. As an aspiring media powerhouse, Samkelo commands a strong social media presence, sharing and discussing the latest breaking and developing stories throughout different platforms. Beyond his journalistic career, Samkelo has shared a global stage with other young creatives. In 2022, His photography project, (Attached to The Soil), was recognised and published at the Michigan State University through the Global Youth Advancement Network.
