DONE DEAL: SA midfielder completes French loan switch.
#FARPost can exclusively reveal that Lebogang Phiri has completed his return to France.
The 27-year-old has signed for Ligue 2 side Paris FC on a season-long loan from Turkish side Caykur Rizespor.
Lebogang Phiri previously played for EA Guingamp who campaign in the same division as The Blues.
He played 16 games and assisted one goal for Rizespor in the Super Lig last season.
At Guingamp, the central midfielder played 78 games in four seasons – although he spent one season out injured.
A graduate of the Bidvest Wits academy, the Johannesburg-born anchor moved to Europe in 2013 to join Danish giants Brondby where he played 109 games and earned himself a place in the club’s hall of fame at the tender age of 20.
