‘PETER IS LOVED BY THE GROUP’

“Peter is loved by the group. One of the things about this Sundowns group is that we have got great human beings. Peter happens to be one of them,” Mokwena told the media.

“If there’s one thing I can say as the coach, I’m in a position where I know that I’m really privileged not only to be the head coach of this talented squad but to lead a group of good human beings.

“You can see the spirit is good and the sense of brotherhood is incredible. They celebrate each other’s achievement as if it is their own.”

The 36-year-old  mentor continued: “And you watch in the WhatsApp group, when Peter scores you see everybody congratulates. This is the type of spirit that helps us a lot.

“I always say that I don’t like speaking about individuals because what I say about Peter being a good human being I can say about so many of the players in the team.

“We are proud of Peter. And of course, we watched Peter playing against Cameroon both home and away. The quality that he gives to Namibian side and not just that but the little bit of the work ethic he puts in.”
