Solomons reveals Kaizer Chiefs’ problem this season

Dillan Solomons has revealed what has been Kaizer Chiefs’ problem, as they aim to finish the season on a high note.

The DStv Premiership giants just returned to training on Wednesday after a two-week hiatus to accommodate the FIFA break.

Before the break, Chiefs has been on a winning streak and would like to continue where they had left off.

Amakhosi are left with seven league games this campaign and they are still in contestation for the Nedbank Cup.

Solomons has played 18 games across all competitions, contributing a goal and weighing in with one assist.

And if it wasn’t for some injuries the 24-year-old sustained during the season, he would have played more games for the Soweto giants.

Speaking to journalists during the Chiefs’ media open day Solomons divulged what has been their problem since the start of the current term.

“And giving our fans something to smile about. So, is about consistency and playing well all the time.

“For us is to work on converting our opportunities. We create many good opportunities but fail to convert them.”

DILLAN SOLOMONS UNFAZED AHEAD OF STELLENBOSCH CLASH

Shifting the focus to Saturday’s game against Stellenbosch FC, the defender is unfazed by the Cape club’s form. He is confident that they will get fruitful results.

“We playing at home and we are not worried about what they are going to bring,” he added.

“But we just have to focus on what we can do. And also pose ourselves in the game and dominate as that’s what we have to worry about.”

Currently, Arthur Zwane’s charges sit fourth on the log standings with 37 points, just two points behind second-placed SuperSport United.
