PSG star Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring with a stunning strike in the 23rd minute, with Olivier Giroud making it 2-0 just after the half-hour mark.
Mbappe showed his class as he completed his brace in the 75th minute.
Wissam Ben Yedder added the fourth in the 82nd minute before Matteo Guendouzi netted the fifth goal in stoppage time.
Khuliso Mudau was shown a red card in the 84th minute following a rough Digne tackle, and Bafana were reduced to ten men.
