Agent discusses Grant Margeman’s future amid growing interest

Football agent Ntobatsi Masegela has shed light on the future of SuperSport United midfielder Grant Margeman amid growing interest.

Margeman has been one the outstanding performers for SuperSport United in the 2023/24 DStv Premiership season after collecting several Man of the Match awards.

The 25-year-old central midfielder has made 32 appearances across all competitions for Matsatsantsa, scoring one goal and providing four assists.

Margeman’s impressive performances earned him a call-up in the Bafana Bafana squad that played in the FIFA series international friendlies last month.

The Cape Town-born star joined SuperSport permanently at the start of the season from Mamelodi Sundowns. Before signing a three-year contract with the Tshwane-based outfit, he had a successful loan stint with the club last season.

NTOBATSI MASEGELA SPEAKS ON FINDING SOLUTIONS FOR MARGEMAN’S FUTURE

His agent Ntobatsi Masegela says if the interested suitors table lucrative offers, they will negotiate with SuperSport to find a solution.

“We have to first respect the employers of Grant Margeman, which is SuperSport United. Everything that happens regarding his future has to start there,” Masegela said.

“I think by now we know that Margeman is a good player, and teams are always on the lookout for good players. And we know that there’s going to be interest in him, if it makes sense then we can follow all the right channels to make it happen.

“But his focus at the moment is at SuperSport, and his future remains with the club until something happens. Ultimately, he wants to keep his place in the Bafana Bafana and he has to be in an environment that will help him fulfill that dream.”
