Mike Makaab makes a vow on Shandre Campbell’s possible transfer move

The CEO of Prosport International, Mike Makaab, has made a vow on the possible transfer move for SuperSport United youngster Shandre Campbell.

Campbell is in his first season in the DStv Premiership after gaining promotion to the first team from the DStv Diski Challenge of SuperSport, where he impressed.

The 18-year-old attacker has quickly established himself as one of the key players for SuperSport United after making 27 appearances across all competitions. He scored five goals while providing five assists.

Campbell, who can play as both right and left winger, graduated to the senior team after Matsatsantsa sold Thapelo Maseko to arch-rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.

Before joining SuperSport, Campbell won the Young Player of the Year accolade at the club’s award ceremony last year. He also won the DDC Top Goal Scorer award as SuperSport won the reserve league title last season.

MAKAAB WORKING BEHIND THE SCENES TO SEAL A EUROPEAN MOVE FOR SHANDRE CAMPBELL

With Campbell reportedly attracting interest locally and abroad, his agent, Mike Makaab, says he will work tirelessly to complete the dream move to Europe for the starlet.

“Our aim and objective is to keep Shandre Campbell’s dream of playing in Europe alive. He wants to play in Europe, and we are working on a couple of things behind the scenes,” Makaab told FARPost.

“We have seen in his first year with SuperSport’s first team that Campbell is a talented player who has a bright future ahead of him.

“So it’s our responsibility to make sure that we make his dream of playing in Europe alive. We are confident that it can happen at the end of the season.
