Arrows’ Seema not worried for his job

Golden Arrows coach Lehlohonolo Seema insisted he held no fears over his job at the helm of Golden Arrows following Tuesday’s 6-0 thrashing by Mamelodi Sundowns.

The result is their worst defeat ever in the PSL. Arrows are ninth on the log with six games to go and have had an inconsistent run since the start of the year.

“I am still a Golden Arrows coach,” Seema told the media. “Last season, I was not here, and the club finished fourth. This season I am working on my journey. Why would I be disappointed? There are still six games to go, and I am not the last team on the log.”

Despite the humiliating loss, Seema praised his boys for the effort and called for support and patience to the youngsters that are still new.

“The scoreline is disappointing, but the effort of the players, no, they tried. Show me any team that went to Sundowns and played as we did. I can’t falter them because we tried with everything that we had and everything available,” Seema added.

“Let’s stay positive and encourage the new boys playing in their first season on the team. The team that finished in the top four last season, how long have they been together?”
