Barcelona have signed the Ivorian international Franck Kessie, until 30 June 2026.
He joins Barca as a free agent after a spell with AC Milan and his buy-out clause will be set at 500 million euros as stated by the Spanish club.
The midfielder started his football career at Stella Club d’Adjame on his home soil before moving to Italy in 2014 to join Atalanta.
After his stellar performances in the 2016/17 season with Atalanta, he then attracted the interest of Serie A giants, AC Milan.
His five seasons with Milan showed that the 25-year-old footballer is a complete midfielder, scoring goals, providing assists and working hard defensively.
Kessie’s time at Milan ended on a high note as he helped the club to their first Serie A title in 11 seasons in the 2021/22 campaign.
