The Otoho-based club has also hired Mereck Mych Chanick, formerly of FC Kondzo, as an assistant coach to work with French head coach Julien Mette.
AS Otohô hired the Frenchman Mette to replace Congolese Cedric Nanitelamio, according to a statemen which the club released recently.
“Julien Mette is engaged with AS Otohô. Former general manager, the French technician returns home this time as the first team coach,” the statement reads.
“The Board of Directors formalises the end of the collaboration between Mr Cédric Nanitelamio, deputy coach and the Otoh int Sports Association. The club management thanks him for the services rendered and wishes him good luck for the future.”
The overall winner between Cape Town City v D’Oyo will date either Black Bulls of Mozambique or Petro Atletico from Angola.

This will be followed by the second-round matches scheduled for the weekend of October 7 at home and October 14 in the reverse fixture.
