DONE DEAL: Black Leopards appoint Johnny Ferreira as new head coach

As it was first reported by FARPost earlier this week, Black Leopards have appointed Johnny Ferreira as their new head coach.

The latest development mean Ferreira will be the head coach while Zimbabwean mentor Rodwell Dhlakama will be the senior coach.

The 65-year-old recently parted ways with Leopard’s rivals Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

And it did not take a week before Lidoda Duvha lured him to Malamulele to beef up their technical team.

This publication also gathered that Baroka was one of the clubs that had made an enquiry for the well-travelled coach.

“I decided not to stay at TTM and within 24 hours I made contact with Mr David Thidiela,” Ferreira explained to FARPost.

He doesn’t care how we get there but he wants to get back into the top league.”
