“Sua Flamingoes FC is delighted to announce the arrival Keletso Lekuni, who joins on a one- year deal. The 21-year-old shot stopper joins the team from Eleven Angels.”

REUNION WITH COUNTRYMAN

Dube has reunited at Flamingoes with countryman and former Zimbabwe’s Highlanders coach Rahman Gumbo.

The forward made a breakthrough into professional football ranks at Hwange before he signed for Highlanders back home in Zimbabwe in 2013.

However, he struggled to make the cut at Highlanders who ended up loaning him out to Bulawayo Chiefs.

CROSSING LIMPOPO RIVER

Dube soon found himself crossing Limpopo River in search for greener pastures at Witbank Spurs.

He spent two seasons with Spurs, finishing as then National First Division’s second leading scorer on 13 goals in 2016, to attract the attention of Baroka who signed him in the 2017 season.

The burly attacker struggled at Baroka due to injuries in his brief spell with the club when it was in the DStv Premiership.

Baroka eventually terminated Dube’s contract and soon, he was on the road again.

This time around, Dube went on to have stints with Stellenbosch, Royal Eagles and Uthongathi FC in the second-tier league.

He last played football in South Africa for Jomo Cosmos last season and only left Ezenkosi when they were relegated further to the third-tier league ABC Mostepe League.
