Frustrated former Chippa United stars Kelvin and Elvis Moyo, along with Kelvin Madzongwe, are set to leave Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League side Bulawayo Chiefs due to the club’s financial situation.
The Moyo twins and Madzongwe have been away without official leave for the better part of the week, protesting over salary arrears.
The trio re-joined camp on Thursday but are unlikely to be drafted into the team to face Caps United on Saturday at the National Sports Stadium.
Head coach Thulani Sibanda confirmed their return but reserved his comments regarding their future at the club, albeit indications of a looming exit.

“Kelvin Madzongwe and the Moyo twins are with us. That’s all I can say. We trained well with almost a full squad with the exception of Lucky Ndlela because he is ill,” Sibanda said.
“Felix Moyo sustained a rib injury in the Herentals game, and McClive Phiri is not with us because of the death of Caesar Dube, the Bosso 90 player who died on Sunday, who was a close relative of McClive.
“Only those three are out, but the rest of the players are available. We are excited to have those three back; they are senior guys, practically good and good motivators. We will be a better team with them around.”
Sibanda said they are not reading much into off-field charades as they seek to end the season on a high note in the remaining two assignments. They will wrap up the season with a date against Yadah Stars at home.
“Everything is normal; we have prepared well for Caps United. We know we are playing a very tough game against a seasoned team, with a seasoned coach and seasoned players,” Sibanda said.
“But we are preparing very well with the exception of guys who are out because of injuries and suspensions; otherwise, everybody else is available.”
Bulawayo Chiefs is also home to former Bidvest Wits defender McClive Phiri although he has mostly been restricted to the bench.
