How Banyana Banyana star Ode Fulutudilu is feeling ahead of debut against Barcelona 

Just a few days after penning a deal until June 30, 2023 with Real Betis, Banyana Banyana frontwoman Ode Fulutudilu is set to make her debut against red-hot Barcelona on Saturday, 4 February, 2023. 

The 32-year-old has since revealed how she feels to make a debut against the unstoppable Barcelona in the Spanish top tier. 

So far, Barca are yet to lose a game in the league. 

As things stand, the Spanish giants have played 17 games and won all of them. They are currently cruising on the summit of the log standings with 51 points. 

Whereas, Betis are based on the bottom of the table [14th place] with 14 points, just two points clear from relegation zone threatened side, Deportivo Alaves. 

With Fulutudilu cleread and available for selection when Betis take on Barca, the well-travelled goalscorer is hoping to get some game time on Saturday. 

THE DREAM DEBUT

“These are the sorts of games that every footballer dreams about playing,” Fulutudilu told FARPost. 

“Yes, there are in the league of their own but this is football and anything can happen.”

Now, it will be up to the club’s coach if Fulutudilu actually sees any playing time on the day. 

However, it is no secret that Betis has had problems in finding a quality striker and how they have been struggling to score goals this season. 

But, given Fulutudilu’s extensive experience, things may take a different direction, as she could be the answer to their striker problems. 

ODE FULUTUDILU IN HIGH SPIRIT

“I hope given that I’m coming from a competitive league and trained regularly even with the lack of game time, I will be sharp and energetic in training that should give the coach confidence that he can count on me for this game,” she added.
