How Sundowns star Boitumelo Rabale plans to maintain fine goal-scoring form
Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies goal poacher Boitumelo Rabale is determined to continue with her fine goal-scoring form in the 2023 season in order to help her side reclaim their continental title.
The Lesotho international, Rabale was on fire for Banyana Ba Style last term, having found the back of the net on 27 occasions in all competitions.
Last season, the speedy frontwoman, Rabale played a significant role to help Masandawana clinch their third consecutive Hollywoodbets Super League title.
She also helped Sundowns reach the finals of both the COSAFA Qualifiers and the CAF Women’s Champions League.
To put a cherry on top, Rabale was crowned the Hollywoodbets Player of the Season, as she finished last term with 24 league goals.
Now, the talented footballer has set sights on restoring the Brazilians’ dominance in continental women’s football with some important goals when the new campaign roars to life.
BOITUMELO RABALE OUTLINES HER GOALS FOR THE NEW SEASON…
“Putting the ball in the back of the net is always a good feeling because goals help us to win games,” Rabale told the club’s media department.
“However, my aim for the team is to reclaim the top prize in continental women’s football which is the CAF Women’s Champions League.
“Although we reached the final last year, coming close is not good enough at a club like Mamelodi Sundowns.”
Rabale’s goal-scoring form saw the Tshwane-based outfit bang 147 goals across all competitions last season.

Meanwhile, striker Melinda Kgadiete have also expressed her desire to help Sundowns to reclaim their continental honours,
The striker also aims to replicate her goal-scoring form that saw her score 15 goals across all three competitions in 2022.
“My ambitions for next campaign firmly align with that of the team which is to secure the CAF competitions,” said Kgadiete.
“Nothing makes me happier than seeing us claim the COSAFA Qualifiers and the CAF Women’s Champions League as we did two years ago.
“It’s going to be a huge season and we are confidently looking forward to the three competitions we will participate in.”
