Mamelodi Sundowns co-coaches Manqoba Mngqithi and Rulani Mokwena marked 100 games in charge on Sunday, but how do they compare to Pitso Mosimane?
Sundowns won 2-0 over SuperSport United at the Tuks Stadium to progress to the semifinal of the MTN8 Cup.
It was the 100th time the two coaches sat together in the dugout after taking over from Mosimane.

MOST WINS
According to Opta Jabu, the duo have the most wins after 100 games than any other coach. They have won 63 of their games, with the late Ted Dumitru coming second after winning 58.
Pitso Mosimane is third on that table with 55 wins.
LEAST LOSSES
While Mosimane lost 20 games as he gradually rebuilt Sundowns, his successors have only succumbed to defeat nine times. Dumitru, who had the most draws [30], lost 12 times. Pitso Mosimane, on the other hand, drew 25 times, with Mngqithi and Mokwena recording 28 stalemates.
MOST GOALS SCORED
Under Sundowns’ current coaches, the Brazilians have scored more goals [186], while Mosimane’s first 100 matches saw the team score 154.
Dumitru, who also had a successful stint with Kaizer Chiefs, celebrated 173 goals in the same number of games.
LEAST GOALS CONCEDED
Again, Mngqithi and Mokwena, who are assisted by Steve Komphela, have conceded the least number of goals [61] compared to the other two coaches.
Under the tutelage of Pitso Mosimane, Downs let in 84 goals while Dumitru’s defence conceded 81 times.
MOSIMANE’S SOLID FOUNDATION
However, it must be noted that when Mosimane inherited the team from Johan Neeskens in December 2012, they were just an ordinary team with a huge budget.
Sundowns had gone five seasons without winning a league title, with a high turnover of coaches.
