As reported by FARPost four days ago, former Bloemfontein Celtic defender James Madidilane has officially joined Eastern Cape ABC Motsepe League side Spear of the Nation as the club’s new technical director.
Madidilane comes highly rated, having coached Bantu FC in Lesotho, his first appointment as head coach of a senior team.
In his three seasons at Bantu, he led the club to two league titles before becoming assistant coach of the Lesotho national team.
The 35-year-old mentor has also served as assistant coach of the now-defunct Free State ABC Motsepe League outfit Mangaung Unite back in 2019.
Spears have already qualified for the provincial playoffs after winning Stream A about a week ago.
The side will either play Sinenkani FC or BCM Stars from Stream B in the playoffs.
