Johnny Ferreira at sixes and sevens as TTM set to dump him

The future of Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila head coach Johnny Ferreira remains in serious doubt amid their relocation to Free State.

As FARPost reported two weeks ago, TTM have officially relocated to Mangaung. This was pending approval from the PSL executive committee.

They eventually ratified the move that will now see the club host their Motsepe Foundation Championship home matches at Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium.

The club and officials left Limpopo to Mangaung on Monday where they will permanently be residing.

They will play their first match at their new home venue against Casric Stars on Saturday, 18 February.

JOHNNY FERREIRA AMONGST THOSE LEFT BEHIND

But there were notable officials of the club who have been left behind in Limpopo. Amongst them is head coach Johnny Ferreira, whose future now at the club remains in serious doubt.

The well-travelled coach, together with his assistant Ricardo Miriri and suspended coach Lucky Nelukau are not part of those who have travelled with the team.

TECHNICAL TEAM OVERHAUL FOR REVAMPED TTM SIDE

FARPost has gathered that TTM are set to make an overhaul into the technical team setup upon their arrival in Mangaung.

This publication has also seen a communique sent to the players and officials Informing them of the leaving arrangements and confirmation that Ferreira and his technical team are not part of the plans.

“To Technical Team. It is hereby confirmed that Mr Phasha Azwihangwisi (Team Manager) and Wisani Nemuremelane (Physio) are the ones leaving with the team to Bloemfontein on Monday at 12:00.”

The story of Ferreira is extremely unfortunate as he had been in charge for just a few days.

Just last week, he dumped Black Leopards to rejoin TTM. This is after the 65-year-old had jumped ship from TTM to Leopards only two months prior.

Efforts to get hold of both Ferreira and team manager Azwihangwisi Phasha were fruitless as their phone rang unanswered.
