Johnny Ferreira on the radar of two Limpopo clubs
Just days following his resignation at Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM), coach Johnny Ferreira is now on the radar of two Limpopo teams.
The well-traveled coach tendered his resignation at TTM citing financial instability. TTM are going through financial trouble and have intentions to sell the club.
JOHNNY FERREIRA MOST WANTED
News reaching FARPost is that there are two clubs who have shown interest in Ferreira to bolster their technical team.
Black Leopards and Baroka are the two clubs that are reportedly after the signature of the 65-year-old.
Leopards currently have Zimbabwean coach Rodwell Dhlakama in charge. He was recently appointed to take over from coach Joel Masutha. Masutha and Leopards parted ways following a fallout.
Dhlakama looks set to stay at the club regardless of any changes to the technical team. Leopards have only won twice since the beginning of the season. They are languishing in position 12 with 10 points.
It’s unclear in what capacity the club wants Ferreira to occupy but this publication has gathered that talks had already taken place.
Baroka, on the other hand, have coach Vincent Kobola in charge. FARPost has also gathered that besides Ferreira, Bakgaga are also eyeing Bushy Moloi for a surprise return.
Moloi was at the club in 2018 serving as an assistant to then-coach Wedson Nyirenda. But talks within the corridors at the Ga Mphahlele-based side are that Moloi and Ferreira are being earmarked to be part of the technical team.
Baroka, who were demoted to the Motsepe Foundation Championship last season, have not started well. They have only won three of their 11 matches so far.
Our mole couldn’t confirm in which capacity the club wanted to bring Ferreira and Moloi as head coach Kobola is still part of the team.
