Khama Billiat sends message to Kaizer Chiefs fans after poor run

Kaizer Chiefs forward Khama Billiat has sent a message to the club’s followers on the back of their the recent poor form.

Amakhosi are winless in their last three DStv Premiership matches. This includes a defeat by Sekhukhune, AmaZulu and rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.

Chiefs will take on Royal AM at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, Limpopo, on Sunday, 29 January 2023. Billiat, who is out with an injury, admits that the club’s supporters don’t deserve the shortcomings.

“We love our supporters. They give us this morale boost, you know. If you look at it, we have great supporters throughout the country, and it’s amazing. So when they are impatient, it means something,” he told FARPost

“It means we actually need to get to our best as soon as possible because they are not used to that. This team doesn’t deserve that.

KAIZER CHIEFS SUPPORTERS DESERVE BETTER

“The supporters don’t deserve us to be losing, so we love and understand them. Whenever they are angry or happy, we understand why and we can only change that. We can only control what we put on the field that gives them the best feeling,” the former Zimbabwean international explained.

“So we love them, and we urge them to come to the stadium as they have always been doing. Winning or losing, they have always been amazing to us, and we appreciate the effort that they put into travelling along the country following their team.”

KHAMA BILLIAT HOPING POLOKWANE WILL BE A HAPPY HUNTING GROUND

“It’s important to be here. The last time we played here as a home ground, we played very well. So we are doing everything we can to make sure the team performs at its utmost best.”

The clash between Kaizer Chiefs and Royal AM is at 17:30.
