Kobamelo Kodisang returns from injury, as Moreirense moves closer to promotion
South African winger Kobamelo Kodisang has returned from injury and continues to help his Portuguese side Moreirense to move closer to promotion.
The 23-year-old got his first start for Portuguese second division log leaders Moreirense since his injury layoff.
The former SC Braga B winger spent two months on the sidelines.
The ex-Kaizer Chiefs target had sustained a knee injury in a training session back in December 2022.

He played his first 90 minutes since returning from his serious injury in Portugal. This is when Moreirense were held to a 2-all draw at UD Oliveirense.
Despite the draw, Moreirense are still 10 points clear at the top.
So far, Moreirense has collected 45 points from 22 outings.
The club’s next fixture will be against Trofense on Saturday, 4 March 2023.
KOBAMELO KODISANG CONTINUES TO BE INTEGRAL PART OF THE PORTUGUESE SIDE
Kodisang has been outstanding for the Portuguese side. He scored eight goals and contributed three assists in the process since the start of this campaign.
Given his stellar displays, the South African-born is set guide his side to promised land and gain promotion to the Portuguese first division.
To add to that, the former Plantinum Stars star will be hoping to get the attention of Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos to be included in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
His continued snub from the national team by the Belgian football manager has raised eyebrows from many South African football fanatics, given his extensive experience of representing the country’s national U17 team at the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile, and formed part of the U23 squad that participated at Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
