Following his departure at Pretoria Callies at the end of last season, midfielder Meshack Maphangule returns to Chippa United.
FARPost has reliably been informed that Maphangule signed a short-term deal with the Chilli Boys until the end of the current season.
The deal is believed to have been concluded this week.
The 31-year-old had been training with the club for a while.
“Yes, he has signed and looking to revive his career down here,” said the mole.
This is a second stint for Maphangule at the Gqeberha-based outfit. His first spell was during the 2019/20 season while he was on loan from Orlando Pirates.
Maphangule first made his name while he was at Black Leopards. He spent five seasons at the club.
