Maritzburg United have parted company with head coach Ernst Middendorp and the club is already on the search for a new mentor ahead of the new season.
The Pietermaritzburg outfit finished 12th last season after battling to avoid the chop for the greater part of the second half of the season.
The Team of Choice last week offloaded eight players and are expected to bring in at least 10 new signings ahead of the 2022/2023 term.
The new coach will have the task of identifying players for the upcoming campaign. Middendorp, who took over from Eric Tinkler in November 2020, was in his fourth stint with the club.
