Njabulo Blom’s numbers as St Louis City pick first home win

Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Njabulo Blom was involved in St Louis City’s first win at home in Major League Soccer [MLS] on Sunday morning.

Blom played 90 minutes for the MLS side as they won 3-1 against Charlotte in a league encounter. The game took place at CityPark.

This was the first MLS home match for St Louis City, a sold-out affair of 22,423.

St Louis City’s opposition Charlotte came into this game on the back of a defeat. They fell 1-0 in their first game of the season against New England Revolution.

Charlotte are playing their second season. They finished ninth in the Eastern Conference – six points shy of a playoff spot in the last term.
