OFFICIAL: AmaZulu complete the signing of Sede Dion
As reported by FARPost three days ago, AmaZulu have officially announced the acquisition of Ivory Coast forward Sede Junior Dion.
Dion joins Usuthu after parting ways with DStv Premiership side, Marumo Gallants.
The 28-year-old footballer joined Bahlabane Ba Ntwa in the 2021/2022 campaign and scoring some important goals for the club.
In the current season, Dion has played 10 games across all competitions and contributed two goals in the process.
Last season only, He found the back of the net on six occasions in 25 games and his staller performances attracted interest from a number of local teams.
Dion reunite with his former mentor Romain Folz, whom he worked with at Gallants.
When Dion was still at Gallants, Folz described the goalscorer as a “good striker” who needed to be placed in a better position in order to bang goals.
“Dion is a good player, we need to feed him more in better situations for him to perform,” said Folz during his time at Gallants.
The Ivorian striker previously represented Botswana giants Jwaneng Galaxy.

Reason why SA football will never progress we hire players that have failed surely there is an MDC player with better stats and potential.Pirates did same with Nga who sits at the bench instead of Radiopane.

The other added: “But AmaZulu does have quality strikers and better than him maybe they need quality technical team than him.”
