English Premier League side Brentford FC have confirmed the signing of attacking midfielder, Christian Eriksen.
The Danish international joins the side on a six month deal with an option to extend until June 2023.
Eriksen was a free agent after parting ways with Inter Milan by mutual consent as rules in Italy prevented him from playing with an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) device fitted.
The 29-year-old footballer is said that he wanted to play football again after suffering a cardiac arrest while playing for Denmark at the Euro 2020 last year.
The former Tottenham Hotspur man on signing his short-term contract with the West London-based outfit, said: “I’m happy to announce I’ve signed for Brentford Football Club. I can’t wait to get started and hopefully I’ll see you all very soon.”
