Paul Pogba signs four-year-deal

French star Paul Pogba has reunited with his former club Juventus, signing a deal to keep him at the club until 2026.

Pogba left Manchester United at the end of the season after the expiration of his contract. The Italian side immediately made it clear they wanted to bring him back for a second spell, offering him a four-year deal.

The 29-year-old left Turin in 2016 for a record fee at the time – £89 million – but failed to live to his billing.

The World Cup winner has vowed that he wants to show United that they had made a mistake by letting go of him.

The Red Devils reportedly wanted a more than £290,000 deal, making him one of the highest-paid players in the Premier League.

Pogba only managed to win the Europa League and Carabao Cup at United, but he did help France lift the World Cup in 2018.

Juventus finished fourth in Serie A in 2021-22 — 16 points behind champions AC Milan.
