The race for title honours in the ABC Motsepe League across the country is getting more intense with the teams gunning for the South African football third-tier national playoffs spot.
In the Northern Cape goals were the order of the day as Kakamas Sundowns humiliated Benfica 6-1 at home to consolidate their top spot.
Kakamas are currently on the summit of Stream A with 14 points, equal on points with second-placed Upington City who played out to a 1-all draw with Olympics.
In Gauteng, M Tigers thrashed Casric 4-0 to register their seventh win of the season, while log leaders Dondol Stars continued with their fine form as they managed to secure a 1-0 slender win over Leruma United. Dondol have collected 39 points from 15 outings and are the favourite to win the provisional ABC League.
Over to Limpopo, Mpheni Home Defenders are unstoppable as they are yet to lose a game in Stream A, having won all their seven league games.
Mpheni sit top of the table with 21 points, a point ahead of the second-placed Giyani Happy Boys.
