Magoola noted that most of the critics are not well informed on why some footballers go through a bad patch.

“The ones who don’t know your story always are the first to criticize and judge you,” he noted.

ENJOYING RICH VEIN OF FORM AT RICHARDS BAY

The Natal Rich Boyz shot-stopper has kept the most (nine) clean sheets in the DStv Premiership so far.

Richards Bay lie on an impressive second place, three points behind defending champions and holders Mamelodi Sundowns.

Magoola’s impressive performances have caught the attention of Uganda’s Cranes coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic.

The Serbian coach recently told FARPost that he was not surprised by Jamal’s peak in form.

The former Orlando Pirates coach said Jamal’s good form was due to years of experience gained from playing in continental competitions with top clubs such as Al Ahli Omdurman and El Merreikh.

Richards Bay have 23 points from 13 games.

Meanwhile, Richards Bay have been busy playing friendlies in readiness for the DStv Premiership restart.

The rookies played a practice match against Uthongathi FC at Chatsworth Stadium on December 16 2022. However, the result remain unknown.

Richards Bay also drew 1-1 with Maritzburg United in a practice match a few days ago at Harry Gwala Stadium.

The new comers are preparing for the league match against Swallows FC on December 31 2022 at King Zwelithini Stadium.
