A Bafana Bafana winger has returned to his club for pre-season in Denmark.
Luther Singh has begun preparations for the 2022/23 season with Danish giants FC Copenhagen after a well-deserved holiday at his home in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The 24-year-old joined Copenhagen from SC Braga last season after spending four and a half years in Portugal.
Although he did not manage to make any appearance for Braga’s first team, the attacker had three successful loan spells at GD Chaves, Moreirense and Pacos de Ferreira before leaving for Denmark.
Last season, Singh played just four Superliga games without scoring a goal – his season was disrupted by illness as he spent a lot of time in hospital.
Copenhagen went on to win their 14th league title and will be participating in the Uefa Champions League playoffs in the upcoming season.
Singh has represented South Africa on nine occasions and he has three international goals under his belt.
