Teboho Mokoena ruled out of Nedbank Cup
Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Teboho Mokoena will miss Saturday’s Nedbank Cup final against Marumo Gallants at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium due to suspension.
The 25-year-old accumulated his fourth yellow card against Royal AM in the team’s last match of the season at Chatsworth Stadium in a game that was halted because of heavy rains in Durban.
The match was replayed on Monday, and Masandawana subsequently won the game 3-2 to close off a largely successful domestic season.
The Bafana Bafana star will watch from the grandstand in what could be his second silverware since arriving in Chloorkop during the January transfer window from SuperSport United.
However, Themba Zwane, Bradley Ralani and Lebohang Maboe are expected to return to action after missing the game against Royal AM due to flu.
