TS Galaxy aim for double over SuperSport
TS Galaxy have declared that they aim to add SuperSport United to their list of casualties from Tshwane in Sunday’s DStv Premiership encounter.
The Rockets have made such a bold declaration via their social media platforms following their stunning 1-0 win over Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday.
“The Rockets will strive to maintain consistency and complete a double over the Tshwane giants in a space of a week,” Galaxy tweeted.
Despite such bold declaration, Galaxy German coach Sead Ramovic is not throwing caution to the wind yet, despite winning two games on the spin and keeping cleansheets.
“This is a second game [and] we have to stay calm. We have to also stay focused and keep on working hard. We will analyze the game and see where we need to improve so that we can get better.” Ramovic told Galaxy website.
The coach is calling for calm among his wards because he is fully aware that Matsatsantsa have always dominated meetings against Galaxy, having won twice and the rest of the games ending in draws.
Galaxy go into Mbombela Stadium battlefront against Galaxy at 5:30pm inspired by the brave win over the league champions Sundowns.
Lefa Hlongwane struck unexpectedly to stun the overwhelimg favourites at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
Now the Rockets have set their eyes on ending an unenviable winless run over SuperSport in four outings.
With ex-Sundowns experienced campaigner Sibusiso Vilakazi and company, the Mpumalanga-based team can be handy on its day.
SuperSport coach Gavin Hunt, too, cannot afford a slip up as his charges are smarting from a 2-1 loss to AmaZulu in a midweek clash.
Surely, this promises to be an interesting fixture for the neutrals.
