What Marumo Gallants fans can expect from Judas Moseamedi

Judas Moseamedi says he can’t wait to work under the guidance of Dan ‘Dance’ Malesela after he was confirmed as Marumo Gallants’ first signing of the January transfer window period.

The well-travelled frontman joins Bahlabane ba Ntwa on a six-month deal after a turbulent spell at Stellenbosch

According to the club’s official statement, Moseamedi’s contract is subject for renewal at the season’s end.

Moseamedi has since made the utmost promise to the club’s faithful as he has vowed to bring stability and help the team survive the relegation axe.

The Limpopo-born footballer will be expected to score the much-needed goals in Gallants’ colours and turn around the club’s misfortunes.

“I feel very excited to be part of Marumo Gallants family. I’m looking forward to making my debut for the club so that I can help the team to score more goals,” said Moseamedi.

“The way it is, I think we have to support each other and if we can support each other we can be able to score important goals and give it our all to the team and make our supporters happy.”

GALLANTS OFFER CAME AS A SURPRISE FOR MOSEAMEDI…

The 28-year-old goalscorer revealed that the Gallants’ move came as a surprise as he never thought clubs are still interested in his services.

This comes after Moseamedi stopped training with his ex-club Maritzburg United after cutting ties with Stellies.

“It came as a surprise because even myself I was very happy,” he added.

“Also the thought that there are people who were still interested in my services and that I can also contribute to the success of the team.

“I’m also happy that I can come in and help the team to climb up the table and survive the relegation zone given my extensive experience.”

The player also represented teams such as Mpumalanga Black Aces, Cape Town City and the now-defunct Free State Stars.

As things stand, Gallants are languishing at the basement of the log standings with 14 points after 17 outings and Moseamedi will be expected to come to their rescue.
