Young Africans reach an agreement to sign ex-Pirates midfielder
Newly crowned Tanzanian champions Young Africans are leaving no stone unturned as they prepare to return to the Caf Champions League. Yanga last played in the Champions League in 2016 as their bitter rivals Simba SC dominated, winning four titles on the trot.
Having recently won the league title, Yanga will play in the Champions League next season.
The Jangwani giants have already signed Lazarous Kambole, who spent the last three seasons in South Africa with Kaizer Chiefs.
FARPost can confirm that they have agreed in principle to sign former Orlando Pirates midfielder Bernard Morrison on a free transfer with his contract set to end in August.
The Ghanaian is set to depart Simba at the expiration of his contract after the club decided against extending his stay.
Simba SC have confirmed that they have parted ways with attacker Bernard Morrison influenced by his numerous disciplinary issues.
In fact, the club recently revealed that the former Buccaneer had been suspended several times.
The last time Morrison featured for Simba was during the draw with arch-rivals Yanga SC on April 30, 2022.
Come August; the Ghanaian will reunite with Yanga.
