MIDFIELDER INSISTS SUNDOWNS ARE HUNGRY FOR MORE POINTS

The 26-year-old insists the runaway DStv Premiership leaders are hungry for more points.

He was commenting on their approach to the game against Sekhukhune at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

The exciting midfielder said all players want to achieve more milestones this campaign.

“We are grateful for the points we have been able to collect,” he added. “We want to continue collecting points from all the games we still have ahead.”

Mkhulise then explained how Sundowns players are making the most of rotation.

“I am happy that all those who got an opportunity to play, performed really well on the pitch,” the Masandawana said.

The Tshwane giants have won 13 games on the bounce this campaign.

They lead the chart with 19 points ahead of second-placed Richards Bay. However, the rookies have two games in hand.

Masandawana went to the match against Galaxy after playing seven games in less than 30 days.

The matches spanned between 30 December 2023 and 24 January 2023.

The crammed nature of the fixtures has left Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena with no choice. He is reshuffling his squad through rotation.
