Maritzburg United and Swallows have played out a 1-all draw in the DStv Premiership clash at Harry Gwala Stadium on Tuesday night.
Monnapule Saleng opened the scoring early in the 6th minute to put Maswaiswai in front.
Maritzburg tried to pull one back before the interval, but luck was not on their side.
The half-time whistle blew with the home side trailing by 1-0.
Back out for the remaining half, the Team of Choice came out guns blazing as they piled up pressure on the visitors.
Just two minutes into the second stanza, Friday Samu levelled matters.
The game ended with a 1-1 scoreline.
As a result, Maritzburg are placed 12th on the log standings with 23 points after 24 games, whereas the Dube Birds sit 14th on the table with 19 points from the same number of games played by their counterparts.
