Marumo Gallants lack of goals a worry for Malesela
Marumo Gallants coach Dan Malesela has admitted that lack of goals for his team is a big worry for him.
This comes after Gallants played out to a goalless draw at home against AmaZulu on Wednesday evening in the DStv Premiership.
The stalemate left Malesela disappointed and frustrated as they failed to convert their chances in front of goal, capitalize and collect maximum points at home.
The Polokwane outfit has only managed to scored one goal in their last four league matches since Malesela returned to the club to replace Romain Folz.
DAN A WORRIED MAN
“I’m worried about the thinking and approaching to our games from the players because it seems more like there is more fun in playing than in wanting to score a goal,” said Malesela.
“I’m a bit disappointed that we didn’t maximize what we could have gotten here. We really let this team off the hook particlularly in the first half where we could easily have scored.”

Malesela further stated that he will have a serious talk with his charges and hinted on making drastic changes on their next encounter in a effort to change players’ mentality.
“I need to emphasize that with them [players], it’s not going to be a light talk. We going to have a very serious talk and changes as well,” he added.
The nil all draw left Gallants second of the bottom; 15th on the log standings winless in two encounters.
Whilst AmaZulu are eighth winless in seven league matches, leaving coach Romain Folz still searching for his first victory in South Africa’s topflight.
Up next for Malesela and his charges is another home encounter against Cape Town City.
Kickoff at Peter Mokaba at 17:00.
